Meet Misty! This is our 2 year old Siberian Husky. We got her one year for Christmas when she was just 8 weeks old. She has become one of our kids and once in awhile it is nice to spoil her. But we like to watch what we give her as well.
I was really excited when Pawsitively Homemade reached out to tell me about their gluten free products for their dogs! It all started in 2005 when there was a bunch of dog food/treat recalls and the products all contained wheat gluten as well. So the creators began at their kitchen table and started making items for their own dogs. Family and Friends quickly fell in love with the items and started asking for them for their own dogs. It then grew to being sold and farmers markets and now can be found online! Here is more from their site:
The treats are packaged in an eco friendly box and sealed with a cute little ribbon. I swear my dog knew they were for her. She kept sniffing and the main box wagging her tail. Then once I pulled out this box she got really excited.
Look at these fun treats! At Pawsitively Homemade you can find a range of treats. From you basic Everyday Treats (looks like pretzels, dog bones, paws, hearts) to Patriotic Treats (hydrants, stars, strawberries all decorated in red white and blue). They will even make some treats for each season. Above are some examples of their Summer Time Treats! I loved how these were shaped like surf boards, ice cream cones, palm trees and margaritas! They even have some sandles and sea shells and a few other designs! They are so beautifully done and heck even looked good to me! But how would my dog like them?
Yeah I would say she likes them. She kept sitting in front of the counter staring up at the box. I eventually had to put them up higher to assure she wouldn’t get them! She loved these treats! Normally she takes her treats and eats them outside. She didn’t even take time to do that! She chowed down on them right there! When we would get home she would “talk” to us and run over to the box and sit looking at us like “come on give me a treat”. She was definately spoiled with these!
You can order some for your fur kid by visiting their website! Also be sure to follow them on facebook, twitter and pinterest for some great dog tips and updates on their products! Each month they have a treat of the month so check back! For May it is Raspberry Scones so hurry and get some for your pup!!
