Giving my Heart to @GlutinoFoods

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Mine was spent with my kids and unexpectedly the Popo. He took a few days off so it was nice to have him home for a weekend. We honestly really did not do much though.

We started our morning out with some of Glutino’s Instant Pancake Mix. Now you all know how much I love Glutino to begin with. But this instant pancake mix is perfect! Just add some water to jug, shake it up and pour into the pan. Since it was Valentine’s Day I thought I would add some fun to it. I took a heart shaped cookie cutter and sprayed it with some Pam. I put it on my pan and poured some batter into it. Cooked until it bubbled and edges golden then flipped over. They turned out perfectly! Since they were small I only did a few though. My kids loved them.

The rest of our day was easy going. Did some shopping in town. Then I found myself craving some of my newest favorite treat- Salted Caramel Covered Pretzels and Chocolate Covered Pretzels. But sadly- if you follow me on Instagram you know me well enough to know- these did not last a day. They were gone the day they came in the mail. Hey it was a stressful day in our sped room so they were a much needed treat that day! So now I am going to have to go buy some. I just need to figure out which of my 4 stores I have to visit out here carry them!

If you have not tried Glutino you are missing out on a TON of stuff! They are the brand I recommend and use more than any other. They have yet to disappoint me with. From breakfast foods to snacks to mixes they are hands down the best.

How was your Valentine’s Day?

~I received the above products plus a few others to write a post about my valentines and the products. No other form of compensation was exchanged. Regardless the above thoughts are my own and honest opinions.~

We are in the process of having my son tested for ADD/ADHD, so I have been looking into going GF for our house because I heard it might be helpful.

Although I don’t have to eat gluten free I have found that I actually enjoy some of the products made that way. I would like to try that pancake mix–and you making them into hearts for Valentine’s Day was a great idea!

I love that heat shaped pancake. We didn’t do anything for Valentine’s Day, but we did exchange some chocolates and a card. My husband got me some potter roses so I don’t have to watch something die. I can watch it grow! 🙂

I have been gluten-free since I was in grade school (mid 80s). Back then, the only options I had were plain rice cakes and a dry spongy GF bread. Being GF is so much easier now. So many fun options. I have really enjoyed other Glutino products but haven’t yet tried their Instant Pancake Mix. This is definitely going on my grocery list!
