#Project52Photos Week 8- The Outtake

Whimsy & Hope by Sarah Halstead

OK so our hosts, Marvelous MommySarah, and Angie, picked a hard prompt for week 8. The prompt was – Outtake. An outtake is that moment that you often don’t see in the movie. They take it out because it wasn’t quit right. I thought this week would be an easy one with all the things we have going on. But man I was mistaken!

I did have one picture that would of been perfect. But I would have needed permission from 23 other mom’s to post it. We had our blue gold banquet for cub scouts and they thought to get ALL 24 boys ranging from 1st-5th grade together for a picture for the paper… Yeah you can picture in your head how well that worked out!  So since I never really did get my “outtake” I did get this picture. We looked outside one morning and saw what we thought was snow. I wanted to get a picture of the sunrise shining off of it. When I got closer I realized- it wasn’t snow- it was sleet!

I know this isn’t an “outtake”. But it is one of my favorite photos from this week and I didn’t want you guys to miss out on a week. Now I do have this one from a few years ago on a crane trip that I added a caption to. It is still one of my favorites- this is before my classes and my camera.

While I did not capture my “Outtake” I would love to see yours! Feel free to link up HERE!

That sleet photo is really cool! I don’t think I realized sleet looked like that. And loving the crane shot. I literally laughed out loud looking at it and reading (well, mentally singing) that lyric. Perfect.
