Holiday Giving with Build A Bear #holidayPL13 #Review #Giveaway

I am really excited to introduce some new friends for Build A Bear (sponsor)! I love Build A Bear. I received a Hello Kitty from them last spring and my daughter still sleeps with it! The quality of their products are amazing. However, my love for them started before I received Hello Kitty. As you may have heard (or seen in pictures) my daughter has a very loved stuffed animal named Kitty. She has had Kitty since she was one and Kitty goes every where. Well, Kitty had lost some stuffing. So I took her to Build A Bear to see how much it would cost to re-stuff Jen’s favorite animal. To my surprise they do it for free! Even though Kitty was not one of their products they still cared for it and fixed it right up for many more years of loving!

To me, and seeing my daughter’s face when she got her Kitty back was priceless! I was won over since then!  They have a wide range of animals/friends you could choose from. Your child picks their favorite friend, stuff it, cloth it and name it! It is a great way to personalize their own gift!

This year for Christmas they have added 6 new friends! Now your child can find:

·         Rudolph
·         Clarice
·         Frosty the Snowman
·         Santa
·         Merry Mouse
·         Fluttershy – My Little Pony

I think all of these are cute. But knowing my daughter and her slight (alright more the slight) horse addiction right now I got her a Fluttershy for Christmas. She is 16 inches so she is plenty big for lots of cuddling! I can not wait to see my daughter’s face when she opens up this gift! The quality of the cloak is really good, and the main and tail on her is soft and long. She is definitely a cuddle buddy!  Fluttershy will be available Nov 29th, however you can find some of her other My Little Pony Friends online now, including Spike!

If you are looking for that perfect gift I would recommend checking out them out. They have gifts for about every occasion. You can do uniforms (like Law enforcement, military and more), super hero bears. Have an animal lover? Then get them a gift that gives back. They have some World Wildlife Foundation animals and if you purchase the Red Panda $1 will be donated to WWF to help protect endangered animals. The gift possibilities are endless with Build A Bear! Right now they have Free Shipping on orders over $40 so it is the perfect time to order!

You can learn more about these new furry friends by visiting their website. I would also be sure to check them out on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter because you never know when a new friend will pop up!

Making Sweet Creations for the Holiday with Good Cook #holidayPL13

Whew! The Holidays are quickly approaching. Now starts the baking! Breads, cookies, you name it I bake it! I also try to give out these baked goods. They go to our delivery and other people who I work with. This year I thought I would try something fun: 3D Holiday Ornament Cakes!

As you know I am a Good Cook (sponsor) blogger. I have worked with them a lot over the past few months and I love their products. They are great quality and amazingly easy to use! That is why this holiday season I highly suggest checking them out for the baker/chef in your life!

I recently received the 3D Holiday Ornament Cake pan to try out from Good Cook. I was really excited to do this! The pan is 10 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 12 inches high. It also came with a cake decorating bag and some gift boxes to put some goodies into!

I could not wait to use this pan! On the back of the package is a recipe for some tea cakes, but I had a mix on hand that I have been meaning to use up. I wanted to show you pretty picture (the one above) before you saw mine to see how nice they could be!

Ok so here is how easy it is. You take your cake mix- you fill the cake pan, put the top of it on and bake! That is it! Easy schmeasy! Now the hard part- decorating. Now Before you look at the picture remember I am more into photography then cake decorating!

See! They are pretty, the bell is my favorite. They also tasted amazing! I won’t lie though- because of the thickness and the frosting I used, they reminded me more of Krispie Kreme donuts which I have been missing ever since going gluten free! So that was totally fine with me!

Overall these are fun to make. I will definitely be using this pan more often!  You can find the pan and the decorator and boxes on Goodcook.com along with other great cooking needs!

You can also enter below to win to make some Sweet Creations of your own! One lucky winner will receive the 3D Ornament Cake Pan (Value $29.99)! This giveaway is open to US Residents (no PO Boxes) only and will end at 11:59 PM CST on 11/30!

Going to School with @Maggie_Bags ~ #Review & #Giveaway #holidayPL13

Back in April I introduced you to a wonderful, fun and unique company Maggie Bags (sponsor). They make bags and purses out of seat belts. Back then I introduced you to their Cicily Tote, you can read that review HERE.  Since receiving that bag I have been using it non stop. I love it! I love how sturdy it is and the quality of the materials used to make it.

However, since receiving that bag I have started a new job. Many of you know I am now a para educator. So I find myself lugging my laptop bag (that did not have straps), my lunch bag (again no straps) and my purse and a few other things. My hands were always overflowing with items. I knew I needed something bigger. With having a love for my Maggie Bag purse I wanted to see what else they had to offer.

I received a really nice Campus Tote. These come in many different colors and they have recently added 5 new ones! I love how bold the colors are and the color combinations they have. But one stood out to me the most. I loved the blue and black one! First of all because I have always loved the color blue. Secondly because my husband is in Law Enforcement and they have the saying “thin blue line” and it represents LE everywhere. It is often seen with a black background with a line across the middle. And what better then to have the colors of LE in a purse made of something that is suppose to save lives just like my hubby does!

This bag is a bit bigger then I am used too. But that was the purpose. It comes in that signature purple Maggie Bag satin lining. There are pockets on the inside that fit my cell, my lotion, chap stick. Even a little zipper pocket perfect for hiding things us ladies need to hide. With the bag being 115 inches high, 6.5 inches deep, and 16 inches wide this bag can fit a lot of books, stuff for the beach, or anything else. As you can see I was able to fit my laptop, my wallet, and my checkbook in it and there is still plenty of room for me to throw my tea and soda for the day in it!

I love this bag! Again the quality is amazing. They definitely did not disappoint! I highly recommend checking them out!

You can learn more about Maggie Bags on their website. Also be sure to check them out on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

Maggie Bags is also a part of our Holiday Gift Guide! One lucky winner will get to pick a Campus Tote of their choice! That is a prize valued at $85! This giveaway is open to US Residents and will end at 11:59 PM CST on 11/30!

Weekday Pizza with a Rada Pizza Stone~ #Review & #Giveaway #holidayPL13

We love pizza in our house. My kids ask for it about once a week. My pizza pans are feeling rather loved needless to say.  I have heard a ton about pizza stones and how they are better to cook on but I have never tried it before now. Thanks to Rada Cutlery I am now addicted to using this thing!

Rada Mfg Co. started back in 1948. They are located in Waverly, IA and have been making cutlery there since the beginning. All of their products are made here in the US and their employees are committed to ensure efficiency and eliminate waste. They stand behind their products so much that they offer a lifetime guarantee. They will replace any product manufactured by them that is returned to them due to defects in material or workmanship. One unique thing about Rada is that you can find them being sold by Independent Sellers, but also by groups for fundraising. Last year over 19,000 groups such as church groups, schools, youth groups and others, have raised money by selling Rada products. By fundraising with Rada groups receive a 40% profit and there are no upfront costs! You can learn more about their fundraising program HERE.

I received a 15″ pizza stone (value $33.10) and a Black SSR Pizza Cutter (value $12.60) to try out. Let’s start with the pizza stone. I could not believe how heavy this was! It is really just a simple stone. They recommend it for pizza, cookies, biscuits, rolls and more. So it really could be a versatile cooking tool. I let my stone warm up a bit by placing it on my stove. Then I prepared my crust on it (I used Chebe brand crusts), and then placed the pizza in the oven while it finished preheating. The crust came out better then usual! Normally my crust is over cooked. But with this it was just perfect! It was not tough and it was not to chewy. I was really surprised!

The pizza cutter I received is a 3″ diameter wheel. Looking at the cutter you can just tell the quality and the craftsmanship is there. It is sturdy and can cut through a pizza with ease.

Overall I am very pleased with these products! The quality in them both is there yet the price is affordable. That makes it even better. I think these would make a great gift for someone this holiday season.

Be sure to check out their other great products on their website. You can also find any deals, cooking tips, and recipes on their Facebook page, Twitter page, and/or Pinterest Page.

Rada Mfg is also a part of our Holiday Gift Guide this year! I think these products would be great to give as a gift. One winner will receive a Pizza Stone and Pizza Cutter (total value $45.70). This giveaway is open to US residents only and will end at 11:59 PM CST on 11/30! Enter using the form below!

Christmas Shopping with Tmart #review & #giveaway #holidayPL13

Well it is getting to that point where I really need to start cracking down and thinking of what to get for who for Christmas. You know that usual song and dance that starts this time of year.

We I have recently come across a site that may be of help with that! Tmart.com (sponser) is an e-marketplace with a wide range of quality products. You can find anything from toys, to small electronics to gaming accessories and much more! The prices are affordable and there is free shipping!

So while I was browsing on their site I was trying to think on what I can get and for who. I found a TON of really cute ideas for my kiddos such as a musical snail that lights up the ceiling, or just a colorful light up butterfly. But then I thought- I am so tired of my dog trying to lay on my pillows and blankets! If it is on the ground it is fair game for her! So we went with the pet bed!

Sorry for the blurred picture but this is my pup examining her new bed. Now I will be honest- this is the large size and it is a bit small for my husky so I think the sizes run a bit small. But I love it. It gives her something to lay on other then my pillows! She isn’t 100% sure of it yet but she is getting there. The quality on this item is surprising for the cost it was. Over all I am very pleased with this marketplace and this product!!

You can learn more about Tmart pet supplies and other products by visiting their website. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest for any new products and deals!

Ame Body Care #Review & #Giveaway #holidayPL13

Does anyone else hate the winter for the massive amounts of dry air? I don’t know about the area you live in but here in the Midwest our winters are cold and dry. As a result I get massively dry skin! Lately I get to a point where it itches so bad that I can barely stand it! So I try to do a bit extra during the winter. One of the things I discovered is body scrubs. While it doesn’t solve my problem completely it does help a lot!

Just because I want my skin to feel soft and not itchy doesn’t mean I want a ton of chemicals though! So I tried Ame Body Care (sponsor). The offer a range of scented body scrubs that are gluten free and organic. First what does Ame mean? Well (sorry can not get the accent mark on there), Ame means soul in French. They use natural ingredients that will hydrate, clean and rejuvenate you skin. The recipes they use are ones that have been passed down from generation to generation and are combined with natural flavors.

I received their Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub to try out. When I first opened the jar I could just smell the cinnamon and the pumpkin. It smelt heavenly and actually made me hungry! I could not believe how smooth my skin felt afterwards as well. I was in love! After a week of use my skin has felt more smooth, less dry and less itchy!

You can learn more about their products by visiting their website. You can also check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  But if you like what you see enter below for your chance to win!
