Ok so maybe we didn’t sleep in. The kids wish we could have let them sleep longer but the Popo wanted to go to Dunkin Donuts since we do not have one near us.
While on our trip we had the pleasure of staying at a Super 8 in North Platte. This hotel was easy to access from the interstate was close to all the attractions so it was a good spot to stay! Check in was quick and easy and the people there were friendly. The lobby was nice and clean and very welcoming as well. Once we checked in we went straight to the rodeo before going to our room. It was shortly after 10 by the time we finally saw our room. It was a non smoking with two beds- however they were just full size so mental note for myself- make sure to get a room with queen size! The popo and I had an interesting time sharing a full size bed when we are used to a king size.
After a day of Lego’s, fish and King Tut we were exhausted. Walking around Crown Center all day can be very tiresome, so we just simply crossed the street to our hotel! We were staying at the Sheraton Crown Center and could not wait to rest our feet. I was greeted promptly with a smile and check in went quickly. You know this is going to be a nice stay the minute you walk in and see the lobby (pictured right).
Just the other weekend we went on a small little trip to KC. While there we had the pleasure of staying at the Great Wolf Lodge for a night. My kids were really excited! When we first walked in my kids were in awe of the hotel. They loved the big tree that was in front and the big fireplace. Check in was quick and easy and the people at the desk were wonderful. They even gave each of my kids a pair of Wolf Ears (Misty ears as my daughter called them) as a little welcome gift. Plus once we got to our room there was a wonderful fruit and cheese tray!
