Man this summer is going by quick! Last week we did a theme of Patriotic for our Project 52 Photos. This week our hosts, Marvelous Mommy, Sarah, and Angie, had scheduled the theme to be animals. Living on a farm we have a ton of animals around here. Horses, dog, ground squirrels, rabbits, and monkeys:
I a bit behind in getting this posted again! I apologize for that. It has been a crazy weekend. First I would like to thank Sara and Angie for featuring my Haze picture from last week. This week the them that our hosts, Marvelous Mommy, Sarah, and Angie, picked was the very fitting theme of Patriotic. With 4th of July last weekend it was really easy to get something patriotic.
So I am still mastering my fireworks skills. It didn’t help that I did not have a tripod. I really need to get one by next year. So my first photos came out something like this:
Back on track this week! It is week 26 of Project 52 Photos and this weeks theme was HAZE. Now I know our hosts, Marvelous Mommy, Sarah, and Angie, didn’t plan this. But Mother Nature had perfect timing for HAZE. All week it has been hazy because of forest fires up in Canada. While I feel bad for those affected by these fires and for the forest, it has made for some beautiful sunset shots! I tried to get a normal scene but the haze just wouldn’t show up in my camera. But this is what I did get:
Sorry! I am a bit behind on posting this! It has been a crazy and busy week this week. We went on a trip then our kids left for bible camp and just over all craziness! First I would like to thank our hosts Marvelous Mommy, Sarah, and Angie for putting this together. I would also like to thank Sarah and Angie for featuring my Week 24 photos.
If you are just joining in here is Project 52- You capture the weeks theme, then on Friday- Share! The hosts select a photo each week to feature and well they keep you thinking creatively. Now on to this week- Week 25- FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Being a food blogger this should of been easy. But truth is- I didn’t cook much. I was going to show you a picture of Dunkin Donuts I was bad and had on my trip. But then tragedy struck! My grill died! I mean died died. Gone to grill heaven after almost 12 years of love and endless cooking during the summer. So what is a girl to do when her grill is broke and you don’t want to heat up the house. Well you do this:
This week I had the task of trying to get a shot for Below. This was harder than I thought it would be. But I did get some and now the task of deciding what to show you. So here are two I thought fit the theme:
Happy Friday! It has been a busy week here as usual! We actually were able to capture a lot of movement. We were suppose to get some storms and I joked about how it would be cool to capture a Tornado for you guys. Luckily though- all we got was a bunch of rain…. Again! So what to show you out of all the pictures I got? Honestly I had a ton I thought would be fun to share. The popo driving a tractor, the giant hole in our drive way from the earthing “moving” thanks to rain. My dog hitching a ride on our flat bed trailer. But this one I thought was just to fun not to share:
After last weeks Project 52 Photos where I featured my Blue Family I was ready to move on and tackle this week’s theme of Light. But mother nature had other plans apparently. It did not involve as much lighting as I would of liked! It involved rain after rain. In less than 36 hours we received 5.3 inches of rainfall. My highway was flooded so I couldn’t get into town. So I took advantage of what I could get:
